ABOUT ME

I am a fully qualified counsellor and member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy. I work within their ethical framework and I have personal supervision sessions which ensure that I am practising safely. I am also a qualified Mental Health First Aider (MHFA England) and I am fully insured.

I offer private face-to-face therapy to clients in Amersham as well as online and telephone therapy. In addition to my private practice I have volunteered with Bucks Mind and worked as a volunteer counsellor at a youth counselling agency called Time to Talk. I currently volunteer for One Recovery Bucks, where I work with clients who are struggling with addiction.

Having worked with a wide variety of clients, I am very aware how difficult life can be for many people. I work with young people from age 14 and adults and cover a wide variety of issues. No two clients are the same. I understand that your experiences are unique to you and I always listen with an open mind without judgement.

In addition to BACP accreditation, I am also a member of the British Psychological Society and have a MSc in Occupational Psychology. I have spent nearly 20 years working as a Management Consultant and in Human Resources, with experience in training, facilitation, coaching and development.
