I work with clients with a wide variety of issues including, but not limited to, low mood, anxiety, addiction, anger, abuse, low self-esteem, relationship issues, stress, bereavement, work related issues, self-harm, trauma and suicidal thoughts. I work with young people aged 14 and above and adults.

My approach to counselling is person-centred. I am typically non-directive in my work and I commit to being alongside you whilst you explore your thoughts, feelings or worries.  Everyone has different experiences and perspectives and during our sessions I will do my best to understand your world. I provide a safe space for you to reflect and share whatever issues you feel comfortable to discuss and I will assist you to find solutions to your problems or goals. 

The pace of the sessions is dictated by you and we can regularly review progress together to make sure that the sessions are working for you.  I also have coaching experience and we can work in a more goal focused way if that is your preference.

I offer face to face sessions, virtual sessions or sessions over the phone.
