Online counselling therapy is a way for you to access counselling support at a time and in a place which is convenient for you. Online counselling take place via the internet using a webcam or if you prefer we can hold sessions over the telephone.

I offer virtual sessions using Zoom, which can easily be accessed via the internet. I will guide you through setting up your own encrypted Zoom account and we can meet virtually on Zoom at an agreed time. I will send a link ahead of the appointment time so that you can join the session. Counselling with a web camera gives many of the benefits you get from face-to- face counselling but with the convenience of online therapy.

This can take place on the phone or can be done through Zoom without the camera. You can choose to remain anonymous and the conversation is encrypted if held on Zoom.

It is important that you are able to find a quiet space where you cannot be overheard.

Online counselling can help with a wide range of issues. However, there may be times when it is not possible to resolve them in this way. If I feel that online counselling isn't suitable for you, I will make every effort to assist you in finding a suitable alternative source of support.
